Home Solar FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is the PM Surya Ghar subsidy structure for homes?

Under the Central Government PM Surya Ghar scheme: ₹30,000 per kW for 1 kWp and 2 kWp systems (total ₹60,000 for 2 kWp), and ₹18,000 for the 3rd kWp, capping out at a maximum subsidy of ₹78,000 for 3 kWp and above.

How does net-metering work in Telangana with TSSPDCL / TSNPDCL?

A bi-directional net meter records both the energy you consume from the grid and the excess solar power exported to the grid. At the end of the monthly billing cycle, DISCOM credits your exported units against your consumption.

Will solar panel installation damage my roof or cause leakages?

No. Sanarka Energy uses non-penetrative mounting options or chemical anchor fastening with EPDM rubber waterproofing seals. Elevated parapet structures leave full access to the terrace without touching waterproofing membranes.
